About Founder

Pastor Mani R Nadava
Founder of Word of Hope Ministries

Pastor Mani R. Nadava was a humble yet powerful servant of God, a visionary pioneer, and the beloved founder of Word of Hope Ministries, established in 1993. Born into a simple family with deep reverence for God, Pastor Mani encountered Christ in his youth and immediately surrendered his entire life to the Lord’s service. From the moment he answered the call of God, he displayed extraordinary passion for prayer, preaching, compassion, and evangelism — qualities that would soon transform him into one of the most impactful ministers in the Telugu Christian community.

The Calling and Beginning of a Vision

With nothing but a Bible in his hand, a burden in his heart, and unwavering faith in God’s promises, Pastor Mani began ministering among the poor, the unreached, and the spiritually neglected communities of Secunderabad and its surrounding regions. In 1993, led by the Holy Spirit, he laid the foundation of Word of Hope Ministries (WOHM) in Yapral, Secunderabad, Hyderabad. What started as a small prayer fellowship grew into a thriving church known for deliverance, healing, powerful worship, and biblical preaching.

Pastor Mani’s ministry was marked by an unusual depth of compassion. He not only preached the Gospel — he lived it. He reached out to the broken, visited the sick, comforted the hurting, and stood beside the lonely. His life became a living testimony of Christ’s love.

A Dynamic Preacher and Revivalist

Pastor Mani carried an anointing that drew souls to Christ. Whether he preached to a small gathering or a crowd of thousands, his message was filled with fire, authority, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Hundreds accepted Christ under his ministry, and many testified of healing, deliverance, restoration, and salvation.

He traveled extensively across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, conducting:

  • Gospel Crusades
  • Revival Meetings
  • Pastors & Leaders Conferences
  • Village Evangelism Tours

Through these ministries, he ignited a revival among Telugu-speaking believers, strengthening churches, equipping pastors, and inspiring a new generation of ministers to carry the Gospel boldly. Many pastors today credit him as the one who prayed for them, encouraged them, or helped them step into ministry.

A Shepherd’s Heart

Pastor Mani was not only a preacher — he was a shepherd. He knew his people by name, prayed for them daily, visited their homes, fasted for their struggles, and guided them with biblical wisdom. His church in Yapral became a beacon of hope for families battling fear, sickness, addiction, and spiritual oppression.

His spiritual fatherhood extended far beyond Sunday services. He often gave from his own limited resources to help struggling families, widows, students, and sick individuals. His kindness and generosity were known throughout the community.

A Life Committed to Charity and Social Transformation

Alongside preaching, Pastor Mani dedicated his life to humanitarian works. Under his leadership, WOHM developed into a multifaceted charitable ministry serving the poorest and most neglected people of society.

During his lifetime, he initiated and led several compassionate works:

1. Care for Orphans and Vulnerable Children

The first ministry of WOHM was a simple orphan care initiative he started inside the church premises. He personally took in abandoned and semi-orphan children, providing them food, clothes, school books, shelter, and love. Many children who grew up under his care are now educated, employed, and living stable lives — a living testament to his compassion.

2. Ministry Among Widows and the Elderly

Moved by the struggles of widows in slums and villages, Pastor Mani began distributing monthly groceries, clothing, and hygiene items. He frequently visited elderly individuals who had no one to care for them, praying with them, feeding them, and meeting their needs with dignity and love.

3. Feeding the Hungry and Serving the Homeless

Pastor Mani often walked the streets late at night to feed homeless individuals, rag-pickers, daily wage workers, and roadside families. With his own hands, he served food packets, water, and blankets — never allowing a soul to go hungry if he could stop it.

4. Ministry to Leprosy-Affected Families

Deeply burdened by the pain and stigma faced by the leprosy-affected community, he began visiting leprosy colonies, bringing food, clothing, prayer, and comfort. Under his leadership, WOHM later expanded this into a full-fledged outreach serving dozens of leprosy-affected families.

5. Support for People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLHAs)

He believed strongly that every human being — regardless of sickness or stigma — deserves love. Pastor Mani provided medicines, food, and supportive care to affected families and encouraged them with the hope of Christ.

6. Medical Camps and Community Health

Understanding the lack of affordable healthcare in poor communities, he initiated medical camps in slums and villages. Volunteer doctors and nurses joined him in offering free consultations, medicines, and prayer.

A Man of Prayer, Humility, and Faith

Pastor Mani spent countless hours in prayer and fasting. He firmly believed that ministry is impossible without the presence of God. His sermons often brought people to tears and repentance because they were birthed in prayer closets and shaped by personal encounters with God.

Despite the impact of his ministry, he never sought fame or recognition. He lived simply, served quietly, and focused solely on winning souls for Christ.

A Legacy Carved in Eternity

On May 21, 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Pastor Mani R. Nadava finished his earthly race and was called home to be with the Lord. His passing left a deep void in the ministry and in the hearts of all who knew him. But like the apostle Paul, Pastor Mani “fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.”

His life continues to inspire:

  • Ministers he mentored
  • Souls he led to Christ
  • Children he cared for
  • Families he supported
  • Churches he strengthened
  • Leaders he trained
  • Charities he initiated

Though he is no longer physically present, the flame of revival, compassion, and Gospel truth he lit continues to burn through Word of Hope Ministries, now carried forward by the next generation.

A Founder Remembered, A Vision Continued

Pastor Mani R. Nadava’s work lives on — in the church he planted, the charities he established, the ministers he trained, and the countless lives he transformed. His legacy is not written in buildings or titles, but in the countless hearts he led to Christ.

He lived for Jesus.
He served the poor.
He preached the Gospel without compromise.
He loved until his last breath.

And today, Word of Hope Ministries stands as a living monument of the life and vision of a true servant of God.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOREVER.
